About Me

My belief in the importance of continual lifelong learning is based on my own experience.

My career began as a sales executive with responsibility for foreign trade. After six years experience in international companies my interest in language and people led me to study English and Educational Sciences. I went on to coach professionals in Business English, alongside occupying management positions in a language school and a retraining institute, with broad experience of human resource management and employee development. It became clear that helping others achieve their goals was what I excel at and I determined to make this the heart of my professional life. A postgraduate course in the Management of Further Education helped prepare my way and in 2001 I set up Orbium® Seminare with Harald Groß to provide training for companies throughout Germany. Six years later the time was ripe for my own venture: Betty Boden Training and Consulting.
